Units of Studies
In 2009, Stewart Kwoh and Russell C. Leong jointly edited and published Untold Civil Rights Stories – Asian Americans Speak Out for Justice which was the first national guide of its kind for high school students, teachers, and communities.
The Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) created five thematic units with lesson plans developed by The Asian American Education Project. The five thematic units are: Citizenship, Civil Rights, Identity, Immigration, and Racism.
The Asian American Education Project collaborated with the Committee of 100 to develop lesson plans to support the Committee of 100’s report entitled, From Foundations to Frontiers: Chinese American Contributions to the Fabric of America.
The Asian American Education Project created lesson plans to explore Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) contributions to citizenship, cross cultural solidarity, and multilingual education.
The Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Studies course is designed to better include and represent the legacies of APIDA communities.
